Hello there.
I have always been a very creative person. When I was a young child I often got scolded for not paying attention in class in favor of writing or drawing- yet, I would swear up and down that doing so helped me concentrate. So, I suppose it should come as no surprise that it turned out I had a neurodivergency all along, even if I was diagnosed later in life.
But that's not the subject at hand. I want to show you, dear viewer, the creations I came up during the last twenty or so years, and I suppose I should start with the very beggining- the very first "Original Character" I made, before I had even heard the term.
Nameless Little man
Yes, that's his name. I created him I believe when I was around 6 or 7, and made maybe 3 or so comics about the guy, along with some standalone pieces depicting situations he'd get into. To learn more, click here
The Runaway Animal
Originally named Ema, my dearly beloved Naomi is the protagonist of TheRA. The story revolves around her, her brother, and their two friends as they try to escape a war ridden country. I believe I started this story as a 10 year old. To learn more, click here
Gicems
We're starting to get into older kid territory. When I started Gicems, I was finally aware of what an "OC" was, and made up the story with that in mind. I must have been 12 or 13. It's, similarly to TheRA, a story about a group of kids travelling, but instead of running, they're on a quest to find and destroy a power plant that feeds off the power of special humans they call Gicems. It used to be an anagram for macigians, but got scrambled and edited as time passed (and also because I was unable to pronounce the original name lol). To read more about them, click here
BREU
Oh, god. So, do you remember how the pandemic in 2020 threw us all into a mentally taxing, traumatizing quarintine? If not, you're a little too young to be reading this. Anyways, I was 15 at the time, and suddenly had a lot of extra time on my hands- and, as any troubled teenager did at the time, I turned to the internet. Obviously, it wasn't my first time browsing the World Wide Web, and already had some mutuals to speak of, but for whatever reason, a group of mutuals in law (meaning mutuals of my mutuals) decided to play a prank on the greater Boku No Hero Academia (BNHA) fandom (i know) by making fanart and live blogs for a fanfiction that didn't exist.
And, well, the snowball turned into an avalanche and soon enough there was a 3k server of people screaming to eachother about it all, laughing and playing and pretending it was real- I myself joined the server to do just that only two days after it was made- and as it was, we were all either teens or young adults, and as the avalanche of content and injokes only grew bigger, we created something we called the Broken Reality Extended Universe (BREU).

Yarn, Pip and Minecraft
This is a fun one. Have you ever played, or watched someone play Pokemon? Of course you have. You're reading some young adult's neocities about OCs, of course you have. Okay. Have you played a Pokemon ROM hack? Well. A few years ago, I think I was still 17 or so, I was playing this hack, I think it was called Insurgence, and I picked Squirtle as my starter (IT WAS LITERALLY A NINJA TURTLE IT WAS SO AWESOME), and then, uh, my laptop's keyboard got damaged (don't ask) and it had to be sent to repair. Long story short they reset it and I lost everything (how the heck was I meant to think they'd do that when the issue was the REMOVABLE KEYBOARD). So uh. I decided to make Pip an OC because I was unable to pick the game back up (i'm emotional okay). Minecraft on the other hand, is my Finch. Not the bird. The app. I realized I wasn't using it anymore and it broke my heart because I LOVED MY FINCH he was so cute and I loved her so much. So, they're an oc now.
At the time I wasn't giving either of them much thought. They stayed on the backburner for a while as I messed around with Volatile, until I realized, hey, I can make them be part of a set!
So I did!
I also designed a parent for them, tied it with a nice little bow, and shipped them all off to be ROTTMNT ocs in my artfight account, and voila. I did tinker some more with them, so, to learn more, please click here
